RIM akan meluncurkan tipe BlackBerry terbaru yaitu Pearl 3G di Indonesia. Direncanakan smartphone tersebut sudah dapat dibeli di Mitra resmi RIM baik operator maupun distributor pada Akhir Agustus 2010.

Gregory Wade, Managing Director for Southeast Asia, Research In Motion dalam keterangan tertulisnya Rabu (28/7) mengatakan Pearl 3G baru yang kaya fitur komunikasi dan multimedia serta desain kompak, sangat menarik bagi pengguna yang ingin berganti dari ponsel tradisional ke ponsel 3G.

Adapun spesifikasi detil dari BlackBerry Pearl 3G adalah sebagai berikut:
